On October 7, MGIMO (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation began training under the program "Regulation and Legal Support of Sports", developed by MGIMO and the Russian Olympians Foundation at the request of the Russian Olympic Committee. Twenty senior officials from 11 Olympic sports federations take part in the monthly advanced training courses. Students will be introduced to the latest trends in the development of sports law and will improve their knowledge of special English. Language classes will be held at the First Department of English at MGIMO, using textbooks specially developed for this program. Teaching is carried out with the involvement of leading legal practitioners who are the authors of monographs and textbooks on sports law.
